The Final Crusades
So the time has finally come and we have now collectively - beat the game!
Amaterasu was founded on the 11/11/2014 with the sole purpose of performing in the crusades. 19 seasons later we have now accomplished this magnificent goal of being the most successful PvE guild in not only MT, but also the whole of North America! So what now? I promise you that while this chapter has come to a close, our future looks bright with what is planned ahead for the next phase. But we will get to that a bit later, first lets have a quick display of the results from the final crusade season.
The Plan
[1] The Cleanup
As we move forward, its important to make sure we tie up all loose ends. The officers and I will be scrumming through the guild list and cleaning up the guild a bit in preparation for the content ahead. Such things we will be removing is mostly going to be inactive members. This would also be a good opportunity to review our guild rules to ensure that there are no misunderstandings. Player skill, activeness ingame & Teamspeak as well as ability to form groups are all key attributes we look for in a core member.
[2] The Promotions
Recognition for high performance is something we have always strived for, and we do this in the form of guild ranks. The core member rank is highly sought after, and while we do certainly have many members who have the skill level for this rank, the one thing that was holding them back was time and loyalty to the guild. With the roll out of the next patch around the corner, we should be expecting to see some core rank promotions too! For now, please join me in congratulating Poke who will be managing the inductions of new members and ensuring that they sail smoothly past their trial rank!
[3] The Future
If were going to plan ahead, now is the time to do that! Whether that be in the form of having materials or credits ready for the next patch, reading guides, watching kTera streams or even just taking it easy to not burn yourself out, everybody will be different in what they need. Try to think about the reasons why you enjoy this game, capitalise on that and thrive. My personal enjoyment comes from the success of Amaterasu and the happiness of its members, so if you ever have any concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. We are always happy to help!
